About

Daisy is one of my fursonas, a comfort character of mine, and a main character of THRIVE IN SPITE. She's a fashion designer who lives in a beach house with a talking frog named Prince.

Personality
Daisy is an optimistic, energetic, outgoing, and endlessly creative slug girl. She is often loud and hyperactive, and loves to socialize and make new friends. She is very sweet and is always complimenting others. She customizes everything she owns from her clothes, phone case, and appliances.

She has a tendency to misunderstand tone and figaritive language, and she often mispronounces words. She's generally clumsy and gullible. At her worst, she's quite stubborn and competitive. However, this helps her stand up to bullies and rude people.

Physically
Daisy is a short, fat, and slimey slug. She is bright yellow with a stripe of orange and white from her forehead to the end of her tail. Her mouth is in a permanent OwO. She wears coconut girl, mcbling, gyaru, kidcore, and decora fashion. She likes to cover herself in stickers and accessories.

Shapeshifter Abilities
Daisy was once a regular slug, who learned how to shapeshift so she could be a cute girl! She rarely uses her ability beyond transforming the length, shape, and size of her antenna and tail for fun. When she's very sad, she transforms back into a regular slug to hide.

Likes
Daisy likes fashion (coconut girl, mcbling, gyaru, decora, decoden, kidcore, and knitwear), makeup, shopping, toys, swimming, beaches, surfing, frogs, my little pony, littlest pet shop, berries, stickers, dancing, rainy days, and dancing.

Dislikes
Daisy dislikes judgemental people, spicy food, bullies, authority, pessimism, losing, pollution, fast fashion, and Moxie's attitude.

Design Notes

• Important This reference sheet is slightly outdated as she should be drawn noticeably fatter (example here).
• Body is most human like of the THRIVE IN SPITE characters. She has human like hands and feet as well as skin. She is not furry or scaley.
• Antenna and tail are very bouncy, stretchy, and expressive! She can sit, stand, bounce, and spin on them! Antenna can be pulled into hearts style.
• She is covered in slime which can make her shiny and drippy.
• Her eyes are light blue with dark blue scelera and a white sparkle shaped pupil.

Lulu

Best Friend

Met at a local fashion show. They both had big career ambitions, fashion styles, and even both toy collectors. Daisy treasures Lulu as a friend, and loves to cheer her up and support her through school. Lulu looks up to Daisy, which greatly motivates both of them.

Moxie

Rival

They have never gotten a long since they first met, due to both of their competitiveness and stubbornness. They often get into petty arguments, fights, and name calling. Daisy thinks Moxie is too mean to play with :(

In reality, they have a lot in common. Daisy doesn't think Moxie's interests are lame, and they have their fleeting moments of getting along. However, they typically go back to fighting quickly after.

Prince

BFF (Best Frog Friend)

Met at a 7/11 parking lot and hit it off due to their shared curiousity and grand ambitions. Prince is Daisy's talking frog assistant. Daisy spoils him and likes to gossip with him. Despite his attitude, he has a real love for Daisy and the art of fashion design.
