THRIVE IN SPITE
THRIVE IN SPITE is a multimedia slice-of-life, supernatural, drama project that I've been developing since early 2016. The story primarily follows Marie, a twenty-something who seeks to better themself by reuniting with their old friends in a new city, and Maeve, Marie's living shadow who challenges their second chance. Both keep their origins from their friends, out of shame and resentment, as they navigate adult lives they didn't expect to have.
Alongside them supporting characters include: Gloria, a skateboarding bassist with too many dreams, Charlotte, a hopelessly romantic and passionate musician at the start of her career, and Travis, a former famous musician who's dedicated his life to caring for his goddaughter above all else. The series focuses on friendship, love, community, acceptance, and the long lasting effects of trauma. It also features a wide variety of body, disability, and lgbt+ representation and acceptance, something I'm very passionate about.I plan to tell these stories through art, comics, and animations!
Morningreins
Morningreins is fantasy adventure story that has been in development since fall of 2024. In a world of magic and talking ungulates, a shy (yet suprisingly daring) pegasus named Midnight Dove takes to the skies to experience it herself. During her travels, she encounters natural wonders, makes new friends, visits new cultures, and develops an insatiable curiosity for the mysterious Pegacorns, mythological beings who are said to be the pillars of the world.
Explore the world of the Mareinleikr, from the Crystal Barrens to the great city of Morningrein and the humble horses to the intellectual northern unicorns to the elusive flutter ponies!

Hester: One Who Sleeps One Thousand Years

A strange elf-like creature resides in a ruinous, forested, rainy region, and she doesn't know why. Who and what she is escapes her. Every day she sleeps, only awaken by distant echoes of voices and drops of rain. She explores the ruins of man, mourning those she couldn't name. The closer she ventures into the castle she's subjected to violent and overwhelming visions. Whatever she learns in a day she forgets the next. She awakes in her bed of clovers and moss, alone in a strange forest of ruins and ponds, and she doesn't know why.
Minerva and The Wooden Door

Minerva and the Wooden Door is an action adventure story. In a mysterious forest over a perpetually twilight sky, a lone tower stands in a field of overgrown reeds. Inside this tower resides a vast library and a mechanical laboratory. A strange wooden door in the wall of nearby cliff is the only entrance and exit to the outside world, and visitors who stumble inside quickly realize they are not alone. A strange five-foot-tall living doll walks the halls of the tower, silently reading and tending to the long abandoned building. Offering her a new book or tea allows visitors to borrow any book they wish. However, unbeknownst to all but her friends, Minerva wishes to leave through that wooden door and explore the world beyond.
Metamorphosis

A magical girl action comic series featuring insect-inspired magical girls with an environmental conservationist message. Eleanor is a broke fashion student struggling to find her place as she feels her friends rocketing ahead of her in their careers. One day, her city is attacked by a pollution monster and Eleanor is faced with a glowing egg. Once accepting her duty and potential, she transforms into fairy with big butterfly wings and gauntlets strong enough punch through walls. Even though she defeats the monster, its clear that this is only the start of a larger darker plot.
This series was a huge motivator that got me through 2020-2022, but it quickly grew outside of the scope of my abilities. I do hope to return to this someday!
