Gloria is one of the main characters of THRIVE IN SPITE. She is the bass guitarist and secondary singer of THRIVE IN SPITE (band). Her best friends are Marie, Charlotte, and Lonnie.
Gloria is outgoing, adventurous, charismatic, funny, and athletic. She tends to be the most positive thinking and active person in her friendships. Despite this, she can initally be a bit judgemental, but she makes a conscious effort to understand people. She's the one who plans get togethers and makes it happen.
Gloria grew up in a conservative and relgious area that didn't accept her. It took her a long time to come to discover herself and leave for a better place she deserved. Due to this, she's very determined to make a new community for herself and those like her.

Gloria has a fat athletic body type and stands at 5'7" or 180cm tall and weighs 250lbs or 113kg. She has long blonde 3a textured hair that she wears either over her shoulder or in thick jumbo twists. Her right ear, right eyebrow, and septum are pierced. She typically wears athletic clothes with pink, white, and black accents.

Marie
Best Friend/Crush
Met in highschool. Initially didn't get along, but eventually became good friends. Marie was one of the only people Gloria could open up to about her sexuality, lack of faith, and home life, but she couldn't get them to open up in return.
While Marie was gone, Gloria was a lot more hurt and often downplayed it more than Charlotte. After reuniting, Gloria puts aside her own hurt to spend as much positive time with Marie as she can. They've become the closest they've ever been, but Gloria hasn't realized that Marie likes her or that she likes them back yet.

Best Friend
They met in school since they were in the same classes and had similar interests. Soon they became good friends. Gloria has always appreciated Charlotte's open minded and chill attitude.
After graduating, they moved out together to a new town to officially start their band THRIVE IN SPITE. Gloria is the organization to Charlotte's passion. Gloria can't really see life without her best friend for the last 15+ years.

Best Friend
Met after Gloria and Charlotte moved to the city, and Gloria was the first to welcome the high energy goofball into their band as the drummer. They are gym buddies and love to work out together. Lonnie's attitude prioritizes the present here and now, which helps Gloria move on from her past and focus on her present and future.
